The physical should have a follow up 180 days or one year later at a VA hospital to check the discharge physical findings.<br />I think this action alone would solve many issues with soldiers missing care. I have a jacked up back, knees and shoulder but yet because of the mobility or the degree of which I can move them keeps getting shut down when applying for an increase, if you served at least 20 years or more, the body is worn down from wear and tear on the knees. So I say all that to say this, mobility shouldn't be the only way of compensating a vet on his body parts. Redeployment screening, how the units treat those in physical and mental needs, how they are treated at the MEB, and the transition to the VA. The process is often not standardized.
