How can I verify if I promoted from E1 to E2? If I don't have access to my AKO?

Im currently at AiT, I'm still a E1 but I already have 6 months in time in service how can I know officially if I promoted to E2?

PV2 Private RallyPoint Member ask your Drill SGT or admin SGT at the office. They can verify for you. Sometimes the paperwork takes a bit to get to the individual.

You can also pull up your email and see who rank is reflected there.

MyPay shows your pay grade as well. Should show on your next paycheck if you've been promoted. When I was in AIT because I'm National Guard, it didn't happen automatically. Had to have the company admin NCO push the promotion orders.

Ask your Platoon Sergeant. You should be focused on learning MOS material. If it happened, they’ll let you know.

Check your LES, it will show you the grade and years you are getting paid for along the first two rows

Since you’re in the ANG there might be a delay in your promotion. Best way to check is your LES and if no change in rank or pay there then I would ask your platoon leader who can then ask the cadre for you (use the chain of command) and someone should be able to find something out for you. Guard and Reserves promotions sometimes take longer because of extra signatures I’ve heard.

Technically from PV1-SPC are "Advancements" not promotions per se, because they are automatic, barring any screw-ups on your part.

As for your question: You will be advanced to the next grade on the first of the month that your TIS/TIG qualifies you. You don't have to do anything.

As others have also said, this is a question for your Team Leader or Squad Leader. That's why we have a rank structure; so they can teach those below them. The job of a Leader is to teach subordinates to take our jobs.
