I would try to have as much of the packet done before you ask for a LOR. The warrants I talked to wanted to see my packet, the other LORs, my flight physical and SIFT results before I could get an interview. <br />So I would just ask around at the nearest airfield and I promise you will find someone. <br />Hope this helps!Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made May 31 at 2017 11:59 AM2017-05-31T11:59:57-04:002017-05-31T11:59:57-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member2612115<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>From my experience (currently waiting to drop my packet) go to your airfield on base. Most warrant officers there are more than willing to lend a hand with packet process and SIFT studying, although there really is no way to study for the SIFT. Like the others have said, they will want to see your progress in your packet to make sure it's not just a "phase" in your career you are going through. They want serious candidates and competent potential pilots. The reason being, you are their next replacement.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made May 31 at 2017 3:12 PM2017-05-31T15:12:46-04:002017-05-31T15:12:46-04:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member2613199<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Go to 82nd CAB brigade headquarters you will want CW5s only for your packetResponse by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made May 31 at 2017 9:48 PM2017-05-31T21:48:08-04:002017-05-31T21:48:08-04:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member2629190<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm at Bragg and was just picked up this last round for selection. Currently helping my buddy do his. All the answers above are correct. You can do the entirety of the packet besides your SIFT and physical and it will show the WO's that you're motivated. I would type up a descriptive bio, like one for a promotion board, beforehand (that's what I did). And bring that as well as your packet to Simmons Airfield. Hope this helps and message me if you have any questions.Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 6 at 2017 9:27 PM2017-06-06T21:27:29-04:002017-06-06T21:27:29-04:002017-05-31T11:05:17-04:00
