How can I get back the time that was taken from me because of my backdated retirement?

So retired Guard got 20 yr letter work 4 more years and than my retirement date was backdated to 23 yrs 11 months and 20 day. bought back my Active duty time for civil service time. Does anyone know if I can get back the time that was taken from me because of my backdated retirement?

Now at 15 years of civil service and retired guard but do not get that retirement until 60+ . i am 51 now.

Been trying to get VA disability for for the last 4 years, paperwork keeps getting lost. through the civil service union finally getting some help with the VA thing.

So you're asking if you can get "back" the 10 day difference between 24 years and 23y, 11m and 20d?
Not sure what you're asking.

You can buy back any portion of your active duty time into your civil service retirement and still count that time toward your guard retirement.
