First off, there is no NCO requirement to be on NIPR. You have privates in S1 with access. Then your first line can take you to S6 and apply for access.

Unless something changed since Oct 2016, your CAC card should have the certificates loaded so you can log on to any Army computer. Have you logged into an ed Center common use compute before? How do you do all the JKO mandatory training?

Perhaps your NCO is confused with SIPR or having a dedicated computer.

You are a medic and don't have NIPR access? How do you input patient intake information?Response by LTC Jason Mackay made May 20 at 2019 8:58 PM2019-05-20T20:58:40-04:002019-05-20T20:58:40-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4655549

Any government computer that you can do unclassified work on....check emails....do your annual online mandatory training.....THAT'S a NIPR computer.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 21 at 2019 10:36 AM2019-05-21T10:36:02-04:002019-05-21T10:36:02-04:00CW3 Private RallyPoint Member4655636

NIPR is simply the military's unclassified computer network. You can access most with your CAC, but some do require further access approvals via your S/J-6. Even then, CACs typically allow guest access to most NIPR networks.Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made May 21 at 2019 10:59 AM2019-05-21T10:59:34-04:002019-05-21T10:59:34-04:00MSgt Michael Smith4655688

Do you have email access?
