They take rescue dogs, train them in behavior utilizing prisoners in classes at the Fordland prison. They provide support dogs to vets who need them at no cost. It's good for the dogs, good for the prisoners, good for the vets. Also, do a google search for service dog agencies in your area. For example, mine is VSDO, Grand Rapids Michigan. They could probably hook you up with someone near you. I got lucky. The PTSD almost had me, when a concerned individual donated a Dachshund puppy and help from a trainer to me. Now, Buddy is my constant companion who keeps me from giving up. I can tell from here that you need a Service Dog.
