But, you will need a damn good reason for the Army to let you go, because the Army.........unless it's a once in a lifetime opportunity........won't let someone go just for a job offer or two.

http://www.apd.army.mil/pdffiles/r635_200.pdf

r635_200.pdf

MSG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 29 Mar 2017 16:49:36 -0400 2017-03-29T16:49:36-04:00 Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 29 at 2017 5:42 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-can-i-do-an-early-separation-if-i-have-a-couple-job-offers-but-i-deploy-in-october-and-my-ets-is-over-a-year-away?n=2457632&urlhash=2457632

SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member Are you looking for work and received these job offers? As you mentioned before , if your daughter and wife's medical conditions are the main reason. I would suggest that they are enrolled in the Exceptional Family Members Program (EFMP), If they are and their conditions require you to get out of the military early I am sure they can guide you in the proper procedures to accomplish this. But as far as ETSing early for a job, you have to realize that with an upcoming deployment, your unit has been training you and planning on you being there. So it is not an easy decision for the Army just to let a Soldier go that is scheduled to deploy. Have to look at the big picture for the Army as well. They are typically in the know regarding separation packages and early out packages. Just remember, if higher headquarters isn't signing off on them, then you're out of luck. But back when we were drawing down the forces it was incredibly easy to get an early out package signed off.
