How can I cancel the TA Funding Request?

Hi everyone, so I enrolled a school #1 (I'm not gonna name it) and sent my transcripts to them. They said they can't transfer any of my credit from my previous college and have to start from the bottom. So I told the counselor that I will looking for a different school because I don't want to start from the beginning.
After that call I changed my education path to SNHU (School #2) and it got approved.
I didn't see the first school name anymore from armyigniED.
I submitted my transcripts to SNHU and 75 credits were transferred. I only have to take 40 credits with them.

But I got an email from them (School#1) saying that they submitted TA funding request to my student account. I sent a reply that I no longer want to enroll it but I haven't heard from them yet.
In this case, do I have to pay them for the amount that they request? The admission status is 'Admitted'. It's kinda suspicious that my previous college credit wans't transferred to this school but SNHU accepted 75 of it.

You could try contacting your Army Education Center for assistance.

How many credits a school accepts from another source is entirely up to them and some legitimate schools are pretty hardnosed about it. The state university that I graduated from wanted me to take all my underclassman stuff again because I had been out of school for more than 10 years. The other local state university would have given me enough credits to almost qualify for a degree in Construction Management just walking in the Door.
That said, there are a lot of degree mills out there that just want your money. I would both E-mail and snail mail them a statement that you are withdrawing your application from their school, something to get it on the record, then check with AEC on how to insure that they don't fund them.

I don't really know how Ignited works. I did TA on the old system - and when I had to cancel a semester that I was already enrolled in (once due to ALC, once due to I thought I was deploying but then I didn't) I did it through GoArmyEd. But I don't know what the new system does.

I concur go to the Ed Center to ask about this.

ArmyIgnited is all fucked. Go straight to the Ed Center so the school doesn't obligate you to a class you didn't take.
