How are we responding to beliefs other than a Christianity? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-are-we-responding-to-beliefs-other-than-a-christianity <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I see post citing bible verses daily. Rarely do I see Native Americans and their belief in Creator and Mother Earth even acknowledged. At 1% of the populations, there should be about 4,900 Native American Rally Point members. 1SG Steven Imerman Tue, 03 Dec 2019 19:00:00 -0500 2019-12-03T19:00:00-05:00 Response by SP5 Dennis Loberger made Dec 3 at 2019 10:20 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-are-we-responding-to-beliefs-other-than-a-christianity?n=5303810&urlhash=5303810 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As a family with Oneida Tribe connections I think the reasons are tied to the fact that traditional Native American ceremonial ways can vary widely and are based on the differing histories, practices, theology and beliefs of individual tribes, clans, and bands. Traditional beliefs are usually passed down in the forms of oral histories, stories, allegories, and principles, and rely on face to face teaching in one&#39;s family and community, they are not normally written down. Full disclosure: when I see a quoted bible verse I typically &#39;eyeroll&#39;, ignore it and move on. <br />I would like to see some non-abrahamic beliefs being posted. I&#39;m curious as what others &#39;beliefs&#39; are.
