How are in advance have others gotten a sponsor to Korea?

I am going to Korea in February and I still haven't gotten a Sponsor yet even though I have done my section on the 5434 but still waiting for someone to fill out section 3. Also, I am in a very small MOS and pretty much know which Company I go to at each base and was wondering for those of you who have PCS'd to Korea if your 5434 said 8th Personnel Command or something different. I got in contact with the unit where I thought I was going to and they don't have me on their inbound list yet. It's a unit in 2ID in Camp Humphreys.

Sad to say, back in the day when I requested a sponsor several times, I never heard from them when I met them. Don't know if it was just my bad luck or if that is just how it was.

Much less than 6 months out......my unit is assigning sponsors to kids that are less than 90 days....

I never had any luck with sponsors. I know what they are supposed to do they need someone making sure they accomplish the assignment that they were giving. If it an enlisted soldiers them their 1st Sergeants should be on this.
