Sounds like there are still some unresolved legal questions and matters with her execution. I'm glad we have a system that does have lots of checks and balances. The facts remain that she did something that the law found her guilty of and then placed herself on death row. Did she change over the 18 years she sat behind bars? I'm sure she did. Did she still deserve to be put to death, yes. More often than not, these type of cases drag on for years, leaving destruction in it's wake. Neither side truly wins. Yet, if this country is going to practice capital punishment, than we need to do so in a timely fashion. My thoughts are with everyone that was directly touched by the events surrounding this woman but what is done is done and it's time to move on.Response by SGT Ben Keen made Sep 30 at 2015 8:04 AM2015-09-30T08:04:41-04:002015-09-30T08:04:41-04:00SSgt Alex Robinson1004904<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>She committed a crime. There is a place for the death penalty and many deserve it. The only thing that bothers me is that the actual murderer/the executioner receives life in prison. While the planner receives death. But it is how our systems works. And he or she who talks receives the best deal.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 30 at 2015 11:08 AM2015-09-30T11:08:17-04:002015-09-30T11:08:17-04:00SCPO Private RallyPoint Member1005553<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Her case is and has always been open and shut.
