Holland four day event cross ribbon. For those that have completed this have any of you found where to purchase the US size ribbon?

Before we get off topic the ribbon is authorized for wear in AR 600-8-22 appendix E under "Holland four day event cross"

6 years after completing the march, I finally found a store that carries them. https://www.usamilitarymedals.com/products/holland-4-days-cross-marches-nijmegen-ribbon

Just found the same thing. I've been looking for this for about the same amount of time. Looking forward to getting one and seeing how they are.

I've gotten it and it looks good and accurate to the original ribbon. What I'm wondering now is if there is anyone producing the mini-medal apart from Praefero, because they don't ship to Hawaii. Has anyone had any luck with this?

If you can’t find someone else, there are shipping forwarding services that can bridge the gap between you and the company. I think ship it apo is one I’ve used before.

I know this is an old topic, but can you wear the ribbon if you completed the event as a private citizen, and not as a member of the official US delegation?

I'm working on this very same thing right now. My buddy's cert says 4 x 40km PACKED x 1 reward. I emailed the Vierdaagse website (those who are in charge of the event) to see if I could get the cert to say that. Right now, I'm only allowed to register for 4 x 50km according to the website.
According to AR 600-8-22, Soldiers are authorized to wear the Holland Four Day Event Cross. So, it appears that in this regard, it would not matter what route you took or if you were packed w/ the 10kg of gear.
I'm going to dig in deeper and contact HRC to find out what they require specifically to wear the ribbon.

SGT Justin Chiang - Completed the march JUL 2018. After many hoops, I finally got it approved through our chain of CMD, and am now authorized to wear it.
Great experience, would recommend!

I believe to wear the ribbon as a service member, you needed to be in uniform and with the required weight requirements.
My cert states 4 x 40KM Packed x1 so technically you could justify it but if you did it without the weight and uniform I personally think its shady and you shouldn't wear it. Do what your rank and conscience can handle.

I asked them about it and they said i would have to send in a sample ribbon and then they could make 5400 units minimum for me at $1.00 per ribbon... Not about to pay 5400$ for a ribbon lol.
