I'd go with Bernie Sanders. He seems to be more genuine in standing up for what he actually believes, rather than believing in whatever will help him get elected (which is more of how I view Hillary Clinton). Just my $0.02.

Of the two, Mr. Sanders. His views are consistent, concise, and clear. Though I don't agree with about half of them, I respect that he is decisive in nature, and knows where he stands in the world. He isn't pushing an "agenda," he is promoting a "philosophy."

That said, you can look throughout history and see countless instances of socialist policies destroying one country after another when they run out of other people's money. Socialism is built on a false premise that the economy is static and one person's gain takes away from another.
When you punish a producer enough they will finally figure out they can go somewhere else.
Even when socialism takes over the government of the country, capitalism dominates the black/grey market economy until the socialist government collapses under it's own incompetence.

Putting aside who I am actually siding with right now and only being able to choose from those two, Sanders. I haven't heard a single good thing come from Hillary. Sanders on the other hand, though I still won't be voting for him, would be the one I would want to see win the presidency if it has to be a democrat.

I would have to be forced to vote for either one of them. If they were the only choices I might start shopping for a nice home in Mexico or Central America. They will all be up here so there should be some real good deals on abandoned houses. The other choice is to just open a beer, relax and be happy that I am old enough that I won't have to live in their socialist hell for too many years.

Hmmmmm.... Let's see..... Who in their right mind would ever vote for Billary? I am a retired Intel professional, and I can tell you that as Secretary of State, Hillary received and sent emails that were classified at least to the Secret level. She (by her own admission) did all of her SoS business on a private server that was not in a secure location. She lied about not having any classified material on that server. Anyone in the Intel community can tell you that. She is covering up for two crimes that would keep her from becoming POTUS. 1) mishandling classified information (possibility of a felony depending on scope of the material and how much) and 2) her deletion of tens of thousands of emails that were subpoena'd that most likely proved her knowledge of the Benghazi Embassy attack as it unfolded that she lied about under oath (known as perjury, which is also a felony). So to answer the question in voting for the lesser of two evils, I'd have to go with Bernie Sanders. However, being that I am a staunch Constitutionalist and liberals are seeking to undermine the Constitution (2nd Amendment ring any bells?), I would never vote for him either.

Crazy right? After the first debate I'm truly torn. Sanders says all the things I want to hear. But I'm not sure he'd have a chance because the people would have to have to back to him up 100%. And the people are lazy and fickle. Clinton is like the candy coated version she would be a better politician and better at getting the support of those who may not nessisarily agree with her point of view. But in a perfect world Sanders would get the nomination. We need his policies the most.

Interesting to note that in most of the replies, favorable and unfavorable, no one stated anything of substance that would effect someone's opinion that isn't left or right. What solutions do either of these people have to resolve the global meltdown, military and economically or our domestic issues. Such as the Labor Participation rate, the war on energy, U-6 total unemployment rates, hunger in America, National Debt, which, In my opinion is the greatest threat to the USA's future generation.........

This no-fly zone thing -- it has gotten some play but it needs a lot more. How could a former SecState be so idiotic? "Oh, we'll do it in a coalition," she said in the debate.

It is as if saying martial terms like 'coalition' and 'no-fly zone' stokes something deep inside her thoroughly mean personality.

I go with Richard Pryor from "Brewster's Millions." Vote NONE OF THE ABOVE. The leading candidates from both major parties are all unqualified for the position of President of the United States. They may meet the statutory requirements of the Constitution, but none of the top 4 or 5 have the credibility, experience, or character to right the ship. It's an embarrassing and frustrating cycle for 2016.

I think America is utterly fed up with horribly failed liberal policies and many are looking at Greece and Venezuela and seeing how these policies have ruined both of nations. Its time for a change of venue and its way overdue.

Not a tough choice at all. I consider myself a conservative voter, but confronted with the choice between these two: I'd choose Bernie. You might be scratching your head until it bleeds now. I know, he's a true, dyed in the wool Socialist, but I think he means well. Meanwhile, you have Hillary on the other hand. She is a proven liar, manipulative, self-serving politician of the highest order. She is exactly what the political class needs to continue their lackluster service to our country. I would rather that neither won the election, but at least Bernie believes in his plan and is an honest person. Unfortunately, he wants to punish the rich for their hard work and luck over their lifetimes. Some of them may be greedy, egotistical, and out for themselves, but I find it hard to believe that none of them are good people who may have gone from rags to riches (like in my Dad's case). I just wish Bernie's plan to help the poor and middle-class didn't involve running off all the corporations in America by taxing only them in order to fund all his "free" entitlements.
