Hey all! I just logged in for the first time in a while. What happened to all the influence score points? Did everyone's points disappear?

I just checked for the heck of it this morning, yea something happened, there were some LONG time accounts there at the top with 7 figure point counts that were always going to be at the top.

They restarted the site and promised to reload the points but they clearly have no intention of doing so. Since the points don't matter, it's sort of irrelevant. The bigger issue is all those who left and/or were driven away.

RP update. 700,000 members creates issues, such as some we have seen. It's free, and points were pointless due to abuse of the system by some members. Last I looked we were down to 5500 members, last week. Data transmission and especially storage can become expensive. It's mostly an echo chamber for many, but there are some useful posts by many as well. Just try to post with honesty and enjoy. Many laughs and mostly free speech. Considering the price it's a wash. There is also elevated awareness of social media now, for many reasons. Politics within limits is still free speech, so anyone expecting none to be in any media is confused.

TSgt Carl Johnson Welcome back. Yeah, the points are probably gone forever but I am still here sharing my humor in hopes of brightening up someone's day. I am of the opinion that most of the members were one or two time sign in folks and lost interest after that.
