When it all comes down to it, noone was there to see what happened. That fact that someone had to lose their life is horrible but the details of whether his story is spot on will never be known.

According this story, he feared for his life and acted upon his fears. I don't care if the kid was 18, 28, or 38. Must of been high on something to jump an officer in his car.

Why, indeed? As SSG Private RallyPoint Member says, SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member, we'll never know exactly what happened, but after watching Ferguson burn (on the news) and watching people yell "Burn this ***** down" I am not surprised that people would "get in the face" of a police officer and even threaten the police officer. It doesn't surprise me at all, which is sad. It's a foreign concept to me, but I guess it happens.

People do stupid things every day. Why Brown decided to take on an armed uniform police officer will never be figured out but bottom line, he did. Wilson feared for his life and had no other choice but to stop the threat. Monday morning quarterbacks have the luxury of not being in that situation at the heat of the moment so they never truly understand what happened...
