The specific duties you perform vary depending on the platform you are assigned to. Some of the different platforms that are available are the AC-130U, AC-130W, HH-60's, CV-22's and the C-145 and C-146A. Like I said, your duties will vary depending on the platform. With the short time I've been on the C-146A I can say that you will mainly be handling duties of a load master and flight engineer. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!Response by SrA Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 4 at 2015 3:52 PM2015-06-04T15:52:42-04:002015-06-04T15:52:42-04:00TSgt Private RallyPoint Member727539<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Nick is pretty spot on. Hueys are also a possible airframe. I'm on the CV22 let me know if you have any questions on the rotary side.Response by TSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 5 at 2015 10:57 PM2015-06-05T22:57:40-04:002015-06-05T22:57:40-04:00MSgt Private RallyPoint Member844398<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am on UH-1N's and have been up in the missile field for almost 6 years. We primarily do the duties of flight engineers and load masters. Once we are allowed to finally mount our guns on our aircraft, we'll be doing areal gunnery duties as well. Our primary mission is missile field security, but we also get quite a few civilian search and rescues too (average 10-15 saves/year as a squadron). If you have any other questions, please let me know.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 26 at 2015 12:38 AM2015-07-26T00:38:57-04:002015-07-26T00:38:57-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member3037844<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Are MH130s part of the platforms available too? If not, where are the AC130s get stationed overseas? The reason I'm asking is I have to give up my follow on (Kadena) in order to cross train. I would love to get USPACOM if able. I'm researching and it looks like 353rd SOG is stationed there.
