Is it possible to get a waiver? Yes. Is it going to happen? Only one way to find out. Go find the Flight Surgeon on your base and ask them.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 15 at 2022 9:25 PM2022-10-15T21:25:00-04:002022-10-15T21:25:00-04:00COL Randall C.7933145

Consult AR 40-501, chapter 4, para 4-7 (which reference table 4-1) for hearing loss tolerances.

As for waivers, anything is possible. Likelihood of it being approved is another story. If you have a 3, you probably will not make it in with a waiver. Like the others have said, might as well try and let them tell you no. Don't leave any "what if" questions in your future. They only lead to regret!Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 16 at 2022 4:57 PM2022-10-16T16:57:21-04:002022-10-16T16:57:21-04:002022-10-15T20:29:57-04:00
