Interesting article. A bit thin on details but I think correct on the information provided. I think a lot depends on who and what you are applying for and the number being hired.

One bit of advice I would recommend to job seekers, apply to jobs you are not even interested in taking for the practice in the interview. Not to mention the mental and emotional capital you gain when the pressure of actually wanting something is removed? Note your demeanor and make sure you try to match this to a position you do want! The truth is ALWAYS the best because the people hiring you will always get the information and if you lie, you are done.

I have interviewed several people who I didn't hire for some of these reasons. I always present a strong front when I have been interviewed. I have never been rejected after an interview.
