I am not the least bit surprised SGM Private RallyPoint Member.
Islam is a works dominated religion which requires the faithful to attempt to meet the requirements of the five pillars of Islam. The faithful are encouraged to support their own, tax unbelievers at best and subjugate or kill them at worst.
The wealthy Islamic countries which have significant oil reserves are infamous for the ways they treat their immigrant labor who are considered non-citizens and have less rights that the citizens.

Not surprise one bit. In those countries you are a 2nd class citizens and must pay a "tax"(bride?) if you don't follow Islam

I have heard similar statistics, however it seems to be cyclic. Christian nations used to be the worst significantly, but every major religion has had it's time in the spotlight on this front, or will.

There is certainly a correlation, however there are many other factors that can be identified as the cause... fundamentalism, poverty, and lack of education are just a few.
