Great leadership, brass balls and character. Some men committed suicide because they couldn't serve. A different time.<br /><br />I would like to see how Eisenhower, MacArthur, and Patton would have dealt with today's Army and political climate. I believe that if they had led us in to the GWOT the fight would have been over years ago, and ISIS would not exist. The country has only come together once as Americans since. What a wonderful "set up for the success" in the second half of the 20th century.
