Once. That was enough for me. I've never felt so vulnerable in my life, not even in Vietnam. A friend had one attached to his motorcycle and drove me from his downtown Los Angeles office to a studio where I was directing a photo shoot for a client. I was looking up at everything. At my friend driving the motorcycle. At every car we passed. At pedestrians. At the dog pissing on the fire hydrant. I have driven motorcycles enough to know that auto drivers don't see you. Bus drivers don't see you. Truck drivers don't see you. Not even bicyclists. Imagine how invisible you are in a sidecar. I think that even a Smartcar could have driven over me (if they had existed then) and hardly felt the speed bump. Imagining that he might forget me and the sidecar and try to sneak between cars in traffic didn't help. No, the sidecar wasn't the one pictured here. it was smaller, much smaller...Have you ever ridden in a motorcycle sidecar?2019-09-05T22:05:38-04:00CPT Jack Durish4995977<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-366494"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">

I also had a side car on my Royal Enfield Bullet which I've since sold. It is a quite different riding and handling technique. And Yes, I would consider another side hack as it provides more options in riding comfort for some and those days when using the cage for groceries are just too nice to be locked in a car.Response by SFC Quinn Chastant made Sep 9 at 2019 11:24 AM2019-09-09T11:24:00-04:002019-09-09T11:24:00-04:002019-09-05T22:05:38-04:00
