I finally started documenting dates and gathering proof of her undermining me. Then I went to my Superior ( who knew without question that I was more than fair to my associates) with the proof, her prior write ups before being assigned with me. We discussed all the chances I gave her to correct herself, the bending over backwards and working extra hours to cover her missing work ( Always when she was scheduled on a weekend day. Usually Sunday which was my only day off.) He evaluated all the evidence, and asked me what I thought was the best course of action. I said termination. He agreed. She was defiant to the end. Cussed me out, threw her keys at me. I caught the keys and told her she needed to gather her personal items and to vacate the premises. She said I would like to see you make me leave. I said if I must and begin dialing my phone. She wanted to know who I was calling, I said the Police. You are disrupting the workplace. She got her stuff and left. I had worked with her in the past at another company and we had no issues. She openly admitted later that she felt she should have gotten my job instead of me and she didn't mean anything personal to me, but was punishing the company for mistreating her ( Not getting my position) and I just happened to be the one in charge at the time.
