The first time, I was upset. Called the cops and they recovered it the next day. Of course, I didn't get a call until the day after. Then I had to go to impound and PAY to get my car removed. That pissed me off. The second time it was stolen (and never recovered) I was highly pissed and told the cops that if they find the thieves, to put a bullet in their knees Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 30 at 2019 11:56 AM 2019-04-30T11:56:35-04:00 2019-04-30T11:56:35-04:00 CSM Charles Hayden 4592687

Absolutely felt violated by those little neighborhood bastards!

Three were held responsible. They entered through a bathroom window about twenty feet from my bed. Took a gun from under the bed and all y long guns from another room. A one of a kind hand carved meerschaum pipe done by an artist friend of mine, among many other things. The one that was a slap in my face is when my light bar on my Patrol Vehicle was removed while I was asleep on the sofa in plain view of the parked vehicle. Both incidents was when I was a cop. Stole some tools and tackle. It was a bad feeling. Anger, but also a feeling of violation, which it was. Installed an alarm. Been fired at in anger, but that's totally different. Survival instincts kick in if you survive, depending on the ability/motivation of the shooter.
