At Ramstein AB. Germany, we got to the 'Ohio Players', The club was making lots of money so they started bringing in groups. I totally love it!

I saw the Charlie Daniels at Hahn AB, Germany in 1989. Also, Ricky Skaggs made a visit to us at Al Kharj in Saudi Arabia when it was only an air strip, tents, F16's, & 2,000 lb bombs.

Never was at a concert on base, but I performed in plenty of concerts on base as a member of the 661st Air Force Band (now Air Force Band of Flight) at Wright-Patterson AFB. Concerts were performed at the AF Museum and in outside for events such as the 4th of July...

It must have been early 1973 when Roy Clark gave a performance for us at Fort Huachuca, AZ At one point, Roy broke a string and announced, "Ah guess I'm gonna have to sing that note when it comes around!"

TDY at Aberdeen Proving Ground and saw Toby Keith in 2010-luckily it was within stumbling distance of the hotel! ;-)
