I've started to sleep occasionally so that is cutting into my reading time but my kindle fire is always fully charged and with me when I go to appointments or other places I expect a wait. I usually only pick free ones that catch my interest knowing my taste can be fickle. I get biographies, historical romance: don't laugh; the background politics and historically significant events were woven into the books accurately. History: easiest A I ever received. I get some contemporary, some thrillers and mysteries, Christian fiction, books for my toddler grandson (kids are so savvy so young and he alreadys know how to operate an iPad with a short attention span) there are war /military orientated books too. FREE!! I have kindle prime but mostly use that for shipping packages. It has more than paid for itself each year. Did you know you can hook up with your local.library and read their digital books on your computer/kindle and they also.have audio books for visually impaired. If you see a book that sounds interesting, you can put a request into your local library and get it hard cover, large. Print. Bookbub was oneof the most emails I watched for. I may get not ever read everything but I' m giving it a shot. I still get paper and hardcover from the local library. Hurts less when you dose off and it falls on your face. With the actual standard kindle Amazon Prime, you can borrow one book a month no charge but I found this more hassle than helpful. Hope I didn't lose you in my Wordiness. Ps, with the prime comes movies and tv shows, too. I am not receiving any endorsement from Bookbub nor kindle or Amazon prime. Every thing previous is from experience. Get all the advantages of a Kindle without having to buy a kindle. Plus on a device like an Ipad the pictures, maps, and everything else are very easy to read and reference. Though you should buy a Kindle. Lots of free and really cheap books. Plus you can carry 1000 books in your cargo pocket and email your self web pages, pdfs, word documents. Eventually I assume there will be no books. Im not a fan of modern technology.I prefer the real thing. My house is full of books. My kids rooms are full of them as well.Practically a library. Many subjects and genres covered. No worries about dying batteries, bad weather, corruption etc. I prefer the feel of the real thing and if studying a subject, the ability to flip through pages of another book for reference. I get mine at goodwill and places like that and some dated building called a library. <br />Books are good for shelving support and evening out a table with an uneven floor as well.
