Many are still there. Three were executed primarily based upon my forensic testimony. They were the lowest of scum, and I only wish I could have "thrown the switch." But, I also saved some lives; pulling some from auto wrecks, others from burning homes, performing successful CPR on number of people. I helped deliver two new babies into the world. In a completely different venue, I taught the DARE program, and I hope that I saved hundreds of children from the heartaches and pain of drug abuse. I will never know now, but I hope something I said reached them. I personally know that I did lose one of "my kids," a very beautiful young 6th Grader, named Ryan, to methamphetamine. Her suicide because of that scourge will haunt me forever. The man at the very top of the methamphetamine trade in America for many years was a local MIssouri named Michael Duncan, often referred to by the DEA as "the Meth King of America." I also helped send him to prison for life because of my direct forensic involvement in his trial for two murders and its slam-dunk conviction. It happened a year or so after Ryan's tragic death, but that conviction was all for her. Even though it was too late...

On a somewhat lighter side, a Ménage et Trois, followed by a highly bizarre and subsequent murder of one of the women, led to my lead role in that investigation which was selected by True Detective magazine to be the cover photo and centerfold article in one of their issues in the middle 1980s. Talk about never seeing that one coming when I dreamed of being a cop when I was a kid!!! I remember having a woman whose situation at home seemed impossible and after gaining his trusy, things got much better. His wife raved about that change, and all I did, was garner his trust, by making him, relevant.

We also ran a Bowl-a-thon for the same organization. The year before I took over, they had two lanes and about 500 dollars in donations. We have 20 or so lanes, made $20,000 dollars in donations. We also have 26 Tampa Bay Bucs players and over 20 race cars and their haulers, A renown Jazz Singer, Belinda Womack, who sang the Star-spangled Banner.

It was a lot of fun inspiring people, with the net effect of getting people involved and enjoying what they do.

I also ran the CFC Campaign and we made 1,335% of our goal.
