Have you been contacted by somebody you served with outside RallyPoint and invited them to join RallyPoint?

I was invited to join RallyPoint by two Linked In contacts a couple years ago and joined last year.
Yesterday a soldier who was trained by my infantry training company in 1985 contacted me and thanked me for helping him so many years ago. He didn't remember my name until we linked up on a Harmony Church group.
I expect that many of you have been contacted or bumped into somebody you served with

I have been contacted by LinkedIn contacts who invited me to RallyPoint. I have invited contacts from LinkedIn and by email. Today I invited a soldier I trained in 1985 who contacted me a couple days ago and we have been exchanging messages. I just sent a message asking him if he is on RallyPoint and sending him my profile hyperlink

LTC Stephen F. As indicated by my profile I have invited and converted well over (25) of my closest military contacts since being on RallyPoint and I'm conitnually sending new notifications on a regular basis to past contacts while serving.

No, I have never been contacted by anyone I served with. However, one of my old highschool friends has posted to Facebook some Rally Point posts. That's how I learned about Rally Point.
