Possibly because I didn't enlist until after I had a bachelor's and worked at a newspaper for a year; I didn't leave for basic until I was 25; and I had a very specific goal for after I got out.

So I adjusted pretty well after getting out, and do civilian life quite a bit. Because the reduction in the number of personnel and less to work with isn't good at all, and one of many biggest blows is religion and gender is a huge confusion. Now I got my forge and play in the fire. I also really enjoy my job, shoeing horses. Got lots of really good customers!! I've also taken up writing as a different hobby - lovin it.
