But I don't believe Sen. John McCain's answer of sending 10,000 more non-combat troops is any answer either. Not even sure it would accomplish anything but put more in harms way. Do you really believe the Iraqi's really had a will to fight? Especially after we left! They most definitely have shown at times they do not.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made May 24 at 2015 12:44 PM2015-05-24T12:44:31-04:002015-05-24T12:44:31-04:00MAJ Ken Landgren692727<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Iraqi Army is graded low as they are not technically and tactically proficient, and the soldiers have hearts of sheep. The Kurds, those magnificent people have hearts of lions. Now the militias might change things around. Maybe they can change this by putting machine guns behind the troop formations like the Russians did to force their soldiers to fight to the end.Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made May 24 at 2015 1:38 PM2015-05-24T13:38:33-04:002015-05-24T13:38:33-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member692742<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The better question is, did they ever have the will to fight?<br /><br />Nobody wants to fight for a loser, and the current government of Iraq is definitely a feckless, self-serving, loser.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made May 24 at 2015 1:46 PM2015-05-24T13:46:40-04:002015-05-24T13:46:40-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member693354<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't think they ever had it to be honest.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made May 24 at 2015 6:05 PM2015-05-24T18:05:44-04:002015-05-24T18:05:44-04:00MAJ Ken Landgren693607<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I got this one. If George Washington was an Iraqi general, he will need these events to occur to create a democracy in Iraq. He would need the Iraqi soldiers to fight like lions, the Iraqi people to rabidly support him, and the government to be rational and support the war against ISIS.Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made May 24 at 2015 8:46 PM2015-05-24T20:46:27-04:002015-05-24T20:46:27-04:00PO1 William "Chip" Nagel693835<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Will to fight for what?
