Have anyone since 2008, have problems in buying a firearm? If the answer is yes, what was the problem?,

From Nov. 2008 until now, I had to wait a period of time to take the firearm home it didn't matter what type and I have my C.C.L. The first time, it was 2 week, the second time it was 2 hours and now I'm still waiting. When I ask the clerk about it, he told me that the "hold" came down from the Feds. and he have had mostly vets put on "hold"

It seem to me this all started after the DHS publish the "Right-wing Extremism: Current
Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment" memo and pass it to all Law Enforcement. A police office friend of mine showed me his copy of it.

Vets always go to "further review" (in Michigan anyways). Two weeks is quite insane though. 20 to 90 min is average for me.

I've had that happen. Before that time frame, it was almost instant . Now it takes 30-60 mins.
