We have all seen things that we wish we had not. Some of us have seen things that we wish we could have affected at the time, but for whatever reason, we could not. We have all seen things that most outside of our circle will ever even begin to fathom. Those things always seem to have a way of creeping back into our consciousness. Those "moral injuries" are things that each of us will carry with us forever. Thank you GySgt Wayne A. Ekblad for sharing this article. Sometimes the easiest way to carry these things are with those who have common understanding.
