With recruiting we were given so much sh...memorabilia...that it was piling up. Between all the moves we make in the military (one of which was broken into and tossed into the rain) and having kids, I only have a few important items. The funny thing is that some of them are not that glamorous but came from people that really matter.

Funny how that works - I keep all the "non-displayable but important" stuff in a locker down in the basement. I'll let the kid find that stuff on his own.

Nope, 2 of 9 Coffee Cups are are Corps related, 1 Glass mug from a Ball, 4 of the remaining 9 are directly Work related, 1 Church related, and the other 4 are Community service involvement related from various sources.
Plaques and Awards - 1 Military Medal, 1 Work Longevity recognition, 1 Military End of Tour Plaque (JCSE), 3 Professional Certifications and a License and last years Volunteer Service Award from a Community Organization.
So, keeping it balanced at the office so far.
The rest of the good stuff is in the Man Cave.

Must be nice to have a desk, and walls to put all that cr... er... I mean stuff... on...
I think I've had an office three times in my career, and two of those times I had to share it with my Detachment Leader.
Doesn't matter anyway, when I did have an office, I didn't really get to spend much time in it - usually because I was in the field, training in some fashion, running troops around, or deployed...
That computer hutch is class "A" too...
:)
