There seems to be a rise in a sense of entitlement in the veteran community, illustrated in videos of vets calling out others for stolen valor, or insisting on things like discounts at businesses. These things are important, but I am struck at how disrespectful and sometimes violent these altercations become, with the vet escalating the tensions quickly and often without provocation. Are veterans feeling entitled and demanding too much recognition for their service? Or are they going about it in the wrong way?
