I believe so. Kids today would rather be on some electronicdevise instead of going to friends house. They are forgetting how to socialize.

Yes. A classic example would be, that I have seen many a time, is when a group of people hanging out (where ever they may be) sitting around tapping and swiping away on their phones but not say a singe word to each other.

CPT Private RallyPoint Member Only if you let it. I really like to meet with people in person and I make it a practice to whenever I have the chance in business and personally. I have to work out of the house everyday, so I have to get out and have interaction or I would go crazy!

People don't talk to each other anymore, they read the paper in public, then go home and listen to radio rather than socialize!
It's the end of society.

If anything, we interact and exchange more ideas, with more people than ever before.

I'm not sure it has. It's accelerated it for sure, but the trend has been happening for a very, very long time. New modes of transportation have given us greater range to leave our birth communities. Increased wealth has given us more freedom to do so. I live in Phoenix, AZ. "So, where are you from?" is a really common question here. Computers and connectivity just gave us ways to decouple our social encounters from our geographic location.

I think for older generations, the ability to balance digital and "analog" is difficult. Younger generations are going to have a whole new experience that will, I hope, find balance, but it'll look like something very different from what us pre-internet neanderthals understand.
