Is the pain constant? Sharp or dull? Throbbing or pulsating? Radiating?Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 16 at 2016 4:14 PM2016-06-16T16:14:32-04:002016-06-16T16:14:32-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member1636830

Depends on where you felt it. If it was in your sternum or rib cage it can get pretty serious but if it were actually in your pecs or any other muscle you probably just strained it from lack of stretching or overworking. In either case you can rest a couple days and try again at a lighter weight if it still hurts or is at a point you can't push past definitely see a medic or Doctor.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 16 at 2016 4:15 PM2016-06-16T16:15:52-04:002016-06-16T16:15:52-04:00SSG Carlos Madden1638914

LTC Yinon Weiss just went through this.
https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/successful-rehab-from-a-partial-pec-tear

I suffered a partial pec tear (tendon pulled off bone) three days ago while bench pressing. Looking at surgery tomorrow (will keep this post updated). I'm curious if you have had a partial or complete pectoral muscle tear, and if you did, did you have surgery or try rehab without surgery? And how did your recovery go?

I never want to see anything like that again. Do you see any redness around your shoulder/chest? Otherwise, if could very well just be an air pocket. Although that's not suppose to be painful.Response by LCpl Sidney Green made Apr 11 at 2021 7:20 AM2021-04-11T07:20:27-04:002021-04-11T07:20:27-04:002016-06-16T16:12:39-04:00
