Has anyone volunteered as a support role for a RTB? Any experiences, insight or advice?

Recently completed the process for the filling assignment opportunity. Sent in my DA705 on Monday, so I'm assuming I'm just waiting for branch to approve?
Has anyone done this? Where were you located and what was your overall experience?

Never done it, still fighting for a ranger school slot, but from what I’ve heard from other ranger tab guys from my unit that’s it’s a sweet gig. A lot of them did the RTB then afterwards became full instructors for the RTAC course

I worked at RTB in the Florida phase. As an 11B you'll be in the Merrill platoon as OPFOR. Your work hours revolve around which day of the cycle it is with lots of late nights and lots of days off.
