Has anyone used the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program to find a job?

Has anyone used the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program to find a job after leaving active duty or, if Army Reserve, upon completion of their Initial Entry Training. If yes, how did the program work and what were the advantages/disadvantages? For those of you not familiar with PaYS, here is the link: https://www.armypays.com

I have not, but know of some who have. While a Recruiting Commander in Philadelphia we had several Soldiers who we put into the USAR utilize this program to gain employment. And I had friend who got out and was hired by the NJ Nets through it. Works as advertised from what I saw.

This is an excellent question! I've read a good deal on this program, but as I am active duty, I do not have a need for it at the moment. Good thought to give the program a bump, though. Many SMs might not be aware of it, otherwise!

Mine would have been a total waste, I was a flight medic and PaYS only offered me a position at Pepsi as a driver/stock boy. That really wouldn't pay.

Is there a way someone who got out of the USAF could use this? I know it's an Army program but all services should have a service like this...
