In addition to $500 damage to our floors several boxes were horribly packed and/or mislabeled. As we unpack we've also noticed that parts are missing from some of our items including the cords to our TVs. Since these parts were not specifically listed on the inventory can we still put in some type of claim since they will need to be replaced?Has anyone successfully filed a claim for missing parts during a PCS move?2016-10-22T23:11:20-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member2003965<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently PCS'ed and the movers were HORRIBLE. Fill just like a normal claim for damage. On one of my moves they lost the hardware to a table and had to buy me a new one. My claim might have been a little easier than what you are going through. I had a box that was labeled hardware. I would get with claims and get some guidance from them.Response by SGM Steve Wettstein made Oct 22 at 2016 11:23 PM2016-10-22T23:23:24-04:002016-10-22T23:23:24-04:00Sgt Sal Hirto2004589<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>yes, it's not a quick process, but the relocation office should have everything you needResponse by Sgt Sal Hirto made Oct 23 at 2016 7:11 AM2016-10-23T07:11:48-04:002016-10-23T07:11:48-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member2004594<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Maybe 5/6 years ago a small table went missing after a move. It was my wife's mother's old table. Sentimental piece- no expensive. Obviously no receipts as it had been around longer than me. We found a link online to a similar table, reimbursed in full, no issues. It tools some time and paperwork though.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 23 at 2016 7:24 AM2016-10-23T07:24:39-04:002016-10-23T07:24:39-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member2004596<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have attempted to file for damage and missing parts to my bed back in 2011 without any luck.
