1LT Private RallyPoint Member6080215<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I graduated from OCS in August 2019. I returned to my previous unit and got knee surgery for a previous injury (airborne ops). Once I was cleared, COVID happened and stopped classes. I called and emailed my branch manager and she has yet to respond to me. I received an email today from attrs stating that I was slotted for BOLC on 01 JUNE 2021. Has anyone gotten BOLC classes that far in advance? I understand that COVID threw a wrench in schools but it's hard to believe that it's backed up a year. I want to talk to my branch manager to see if it's possible for me to be in an earlier class since I'm active duty and I'm already almost a year from graduating. Maybe I'm thinking too highly of myself but I am concerned with my career progression at this point. Any suggestions on getting into contact with someone who could help me?Has anyone received a BOLC class dated for next year?2020-07-07T17:05:51-04:001LT Private RallyPoint Member6080215<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I graduated from OCS in August 2019. They are slotting based on the assumption they will resume classes on X date. For our ALC, they started slotting again 1 July but made it clear that they don't know if the courses will actually happen.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 7 at 2020 5:33 PM2020-07-07T17:33:26-04:002020-07-07T17:33:26-04:001LT Kevin Chapman6080444<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I did as well. Recommend having the Senior MI person in your organization or BN XO call branch. LT branch managers are hole pluggers and just trying to get a LT To a position...and leave you there. <br /><br />Branch has to load you into a BOLC slot. Make one last try to inform branch's you are ready to go To BOLC and request a date....please.... on your own via email, with the senior MI officer CC'ed. Be polite and nice so they can be be nasty.Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Jul 7 at 2020 8:35 PM2020-07-07T20:35:45-04:002020-07-07T20:35:45-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member6081709<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Intelligence BOLC is always backed up.
