Small quiet place. Only like a dozen units and they do some cool vehicle r and d stuff there. If you dont mind dull shifts theres plenty to do in the area and Texarkana is pretty close and has a few decent places. Only ever there once for like a week but it didnt seem like a bad place to do a tour. Patrol functions, which is going out on a limb using that terminology, are limited to building checks and the occasional traffic stop. Even on patrol, an officer will go to the gate to replace someone else for chow. Otherwise, patrol is driving around buildings ensuring they are locked. That's it.

All types of story tellers and fakers claiming past experience in other agencies...which is proven false through articles about their arrest and/or others whom actually worked with agencies knowing first hand the other never held the position they claim. There is virtually no room for advancement. If you want to be a police officer, stick with the civilian side of things.
