We prepaid for 20 years of our electricity, but Sunrun owns and maintains the equipment. The estimated power generated was estimated to be 50% of our previous usage, but has averaged out to closer to 60%. We&#39;re not planning on moving until we retire in about 15 years, so choosing the option we did worked for us.
