Has anyone heard of the Google Local Guides Program, and if so, do you contribute?

This is a program I stumbled across while after reviewing a restaurant. It's how all those pictures, company information, and more end up on Google.

It works with Google Maps to make our lives easier. I have found it a great activity to explore my neighborhood and keep my idle hands still.

It does have an incentive. I've already gotten 1TB free of storage and 90 days of Google Play Music.

I've been using it since it rolled out. I usually take a photo of my food and upload it. Especially when I go TDY for any reason. Otherwise, I am a foodie and like to try new places and write a review. Occasionally I'll write it in notepad and post it to both Google Local Guide and YELP. Since I have an Android phone and everything is linked through my Google account, I use it everywhere. You can get a lot of views if you're the first person to review a new place and upload a picture or two. Great if you can take photos of the place's menu if they don't have a menu online.
