Has anyone have there NCOES class scheduled through Attrs then not long later canceled?

I was scheduled to attend SLC this coming Jan I have a decent Oml number based off of last years board along with most people who had a higher number already scheduled or attending right now. I am currently deployed to Poland just wondering if anyone had this happen to them or any insight would be helpful Thanks in Advance.

Check MILPER 21-410

You likely fell into the automatic promotion category and will be promoted and then slotted for SLC again once you redeploy.

This could happen for various number of reasons, perhaps the minimum number of students had not enrolled, not enough available instructors per student ratio were found, ratio of students for equipment available, etc.. This is very common things that happen with MOSQ or reclass classes. Were you in reserved status or Wait status as a student? You should always check to make sure the course is still ongoing even if you get orders to attend, I even had that happen to me once a long time ago.

Yes. I even had my SLC slot canceled while I was standing in formation at SLC. What they don't tell you is that they prioritize slots sometimes based on availability to those who are coming from farther away like Hawaii, Germany, or Korea. So they'll bump a stateside slot if they forecasted too many. That was my experience, but I'm pretty sure the schoolhouse may have a different explanation.

In the early 80s I had my ANCOC (today's SLC) class canceled under "Mission Essential" for 3 classes. It wasn't till I left the unit before I got to attend enroute. As SSG Private RallyPoint Member's comment said - I was promoted anyway per order of my COC's General Officer.
