Has anyone had success claiming for Anxiety/Depression/headaches and sleep issues? If so, what did you end up with?

VA claims for Anxiety/Depression/headaches and sleep issues being treated for all through the VA already Has anyone had success claiming these types of things if so what did you end up with?

If it’s in your medical records you should’ve be fine. Everyone’s claim is different but good luck.

Well, everyone rates differently based off of what is noted in your records and what the severity of the issues. Some rate hard and some don't. If you're not happy with what you're rated, disagree with it or if you feel it's worse later you can resubmit it. I've never had issues with these claims. It's more of the physical claims rather than the psychological claims that I typically have trouble with. You can rate all over the board with it from 0% up to 100%

It’s all rolled up under the PTSD label, sleep apnea, migraine headaches, and chronic pain are individual claims on their own.

Now every case is different on ratings claims. I had a chronological record of care in regards to the chronic pain, and migraines following IED exposure. So your claim may very well be different.

I was awarded 50% for PTSD alone.

Hit up your local VSO as well. They have a wealth of knowledge on submitting claims. Without them I know I would have missed quite a bit from my records.

I have PTSD due to MST and Survivors Guilt with Severe Anxiety Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury with various other body injuries that required surgical procedures...It still took over 10 years to figure out how to file and deal...80 paid at 100 and they are increasing me up to the full 100 since they found nodules in my right lung

Ratings are based on severity and connectivity to your service. You have obviously been rated as they are treating you for these things. In order to influence the rating (if appropriate) You will have to sum it the documentation identified by others to re-assess your status. What other rate for the similar issues is not going to align with yours. The formula for calculation is fairly straight forward and you should receive a copy (should have received) if the determination and how your issues equates to the value of your determination.
