Has anyone had a VA disability review when their 5 year mark is coming up? What can I expect during my video conference next week?

At my 5 yr mark, the VA knocked me down to 90% without asking me or my Dr's opinion on anything. The VA told me it was because the Social Security office told them I've been working. The SS office said they were lying trying to lower my disability. The VA gave me and my attorney a review date then made their decision 2 days prior to that date and then didn't have the review.
Whatever you do, DO NOT TRUST THE VA! They will lie cheat and steal from anyone they want.

The gist behind the review is to assess your health, and your rating separately. There are many conditions that are generally considered to improve over time, service connected or not. If you have degenerative issues they will not reassess unless they did not rate you maximum for that issue, in which case you may gain instead of lose ratings. Anything is possible. Just be honest and answer there questions so that they can help you.

I have heard of these and as far as I know nothing bad has come from them...just to make sure your disability is still a disability and it hasn't gotten worse.

About two years ago they do the exams on anything with the high percentage, they did not do an exam with my sleep apnea.

No. COVID brought about telemeds. Only advice there is don't pick boogers if you're unsure they are online.

I know a couple of people who were knocked down. I never heard from them after their hearings (not good). There have got to be a lot of cases who will get eliminated
