Just traded my 2010 Corvette for a Leased 2016 Equinox at a Chevrolet Dealership in Norwood MA...and am having seconds thoughts

I can't believe the BS that the Sales Manager at this Chevrolet Dealership gave me about my Corvette and about the Equinox. I was thinking about going into his office today and tell him what I think of him. But will fill out the questionnaire and tell it like it is.. I have also been thinking about calling this guy's boss and filing a complaint but that is probably a waste of time..

The last time I purchased a new Cadillac 2014 CTS was the first time I had a good experience in many, many years. I did all negotiated the entire deal over the Internet. Trade in and new car. I never set foot in the dealership until I picked it up.

Yes a Honda dealership in San Antonio quoted a % rate but they were lying.

You may be stuck in the lease agreement and not able to get out of it without penalties of some sort which will really be a pain in the butt. Some people just seem to have a knack for dealing with car dealerships and say they get a good deal every time. I feel as if I get stuck every time I buy a car no matter how much homework I think I do, only the dealer knows what they paid for the vehicle and how much they can sell it for, where we are negotiating in the dark. There may be some wiggle room in the lease agreement if you swap over into a bigger more expensive-type vehicle. Otherwise I would guess the dealer could care less in this kind of market. An option might be to write to the national sales people of Chevy & in a professional manner, put the dealer and all he did on report for their information. Good luck..

Is it the car dealer you're having issues with or the fact that you REALLY screwed up getting rid of that car? Where is your NCO? You NEED some corrective training or some backroom justice. Ain't no damn way I'd give up that vette...... I'm at a loss for words........

Nope. I've bought two cars in my lifetime but I knew what to look for and how to negotiate. Oh and how to walk away, which I have done so.
