LTC Private RallyPoint Member 1370144 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Enlisted or Officer, have you ever worked for someone and then been promoted faster and had them wind up working for you? If so, did it cause issues? I've had it happen twice. The NCO who was my PSG when I was an E5 wound up being my PSG when I was a PL. And my PL when I was 2LT assistant PL wound up being my XO when I was Company Commander. Has anyone ever out-paced former supervisors? 2016-03-10T15:21:08-05:00 LTC Private RallyPoint Member 1370144 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Enlisted or Officer, have you ever worked for someone and then been promoted faster and had them wind up working for you? Young E5 that seemed to always be squared away and knowledgable. I commissioned left the guard to go reserves and he was assigned in my unit. He'd been kicked out of the guard and went back to the reserves as an E4. I took company command and he ended up getting putting out of the Army. Small world though.
