Yes, numerous times. FYI, I believe it's closed for repair through mid-Dec 2016.

It's pretty much a very long staircase with giant steps. It gains over 2000 ft in about a mile. It helps if you are acclimated to the elevation because starts at around 6500 ft and goes to almost 8600 ft. If you're a flatlander you might struggle a bit. I thought I was in pretty good shape but it almost broke me off. It was my first visit to CO and I'd only been there a few days at that point. It was definitely a lesson in humility.

Ah yes the Incline! So hard but so rewarding, it's a great view at the top.

It's a challenging climb, but there are a places you can pull off to the side to catch your breath. You can get down from the top of The Incline taking an alternate trail that's not nearly as steep and views are phenomenal. You don't have to be super fit to make it up, but it sure makes it easier. :-)
