Has anyone ever been to a military daddy daughter princess ball?

I will be taking my 3 year old daughter to one this weekend and was wondering what it will be like.

I never had the opportunity to do anything like this with my daughter (and since she is grown with daughters of her own, I don't think I'll be able to anytime in the future either) but its sounds like a wonderful experience in the making for both of you! Enjoy it while you can!

They're very nice. There should be craft tables for her, as well.

I've made it to one...and I had to wait util I was retired to do it...she was 21 at the time

I have been to one with my daughter. It was awesome. She really enjoyed it. It was at a kids museum, which is really an indoor playground, in Raleigh, NC. It was something we both enjoyed. I like the uniform idea with the prince charming aspect. She would like that. My daughter was 3 at the time. Make sure to take pictures.

Kudos to you, and what a wonderful thing!
I wish I'd had the chance to do that with my father, but I am quite sure my father would have, given the choice between taking me to such an event, or diving into, and doing the backstroke across a pond of raw sewage, he'd have chosen the pond!

What I do know, is that special times between fathers and daughters are something that will stay in her mind forever, and its going to give any future suitor for her, a very hard time measuring up to her Daddy.

Enjoy it, because in a moment, you will blink and she's going to be rolling her eyes and giving "THAT SIGH" when you say things... right now, she is your little princess, and that is something special!
