At least that’s what the determining factors were when I was in the Army. I had a P3 profile in the L; however, I was ADMIN and I stayed in until I requested a Medical Discharge SPC Nancy Greene Mon, 18 Jan 2021 02:50:41 -0500 2021-01-18T02:50:41-05:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 18 at 2021 3:55 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/has-anyone-ever-been-separated-for-a-perforated-eardrum-during-bct-bmt-rtc?n=6669292&urlhash=6669292 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You&#39;ll have to be more specific about why. Sure, someone &quot;could&quot; be separated for that, or shin splints, or being gay, or sleepwalking or any other number of things. What is the underlying problem you&#39;re trying to solve? Can’t say any of us respected him for it though. Most doctors will tell you that it can heal with time, as mine did. Perforations are less serious than other ear related injuries from what I understand. The real issue here appears to be looking for a reason to quit. There’s no happiness at the end of that road.
